Musiad USA, Eastern Black Sea Development Agency and Bulancak Chamber of Commerce organized a trade mission in collaboration.
Governor of Ordu Irfan Balkanlioglu, Governor of Artvin Kenan Ciftci, Artvin Mayor Mehmet Kocatepe, Eastern Blak Sea Development Agency Cetin Oktay Kaldirim, Giresun Chamber of Commerce President Hasan Cakirmelikoglu, Ordu Chamber of Commerce President Servet Sahin,Bulancak Chamber of Commerce President Ali Fatoglu and Musiad USA Vice President Muharrem Atalan visited H.E. Mr. Serdar Kilic, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Washington DC.
During the meeting Ambassador Serdar Kilic emphasized the importance of Development Agencies. He said that “In order to achieve Turkish export strategy for 2023, we have to increase the number of national participants to international fairs, general and sectoral trade delegations and buying missions in target markets. We, also, have to implement sectoral and country based diversification strategy in export composition. We are ready to assist this process to the best of our ability.”
After the meeting with Ambassador Mr. Kilic trade delegation met with Turkish Embassy Commercial Chief Counsellor Omur Demir Kizilaslan. Mrs. Kizilaslan gave a brief speech and explained the current conditions of the US market. Association of Food Industries President Bob Bauer, who was invited by Turkish Embassy Commercial Office, explained the implementation of the new regulations for hazelnut and honey produce. At the end of the meeting, Bulancak Chamber of Commerce President Ali Fatoglu presented a gift to Chief Commercial Counsellor Omur Demir Kizilaslan and AFI President Bob Bauer.
