MUSIAD USA President Mustafa Tuncer and Executive Director Ibrahim Uyar, MUSIAD Secretary General Oguz Ozcan, Member of Board of Directors Alper Esen, Founding Members Tarik Argit and Mustafa Albayrak visited the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, recently at its Washington, D.C., headquarters.
At that meeting, Representatives of the Turkish Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MUSIAD) invited American Muslims to participate in its upcoming International Fair and International Business Forum Congress, November 26-30 in Istanbul.
“We welcome the invitation for American Muslims to strengthen business ties with Turkey and to share our nation’s economic potential with a strategic partner in the region and worldwide,” said CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad, who hosted the Turkish delegation in Washington, D.C.
MUSIAD USA President Mustafa Tuncer stated that its “… aim is to take investors and entrepreneurs from around the world to industrial centers of Turkey and help them build contacts with the business communities there. Today, we are grateful that CAIR opened its doors to MUSIAD USA and enabled the strengthening of economic ties between the two organizations and their respective members.”
